Thanks for the commands - I ran all three of the DISM commands you posted - all ran without error If at any point the HW starts working, you can stop trying other methods - you don't have to do every method Then try the Refresh path - again you can use the DVD you created as the Recovery source.

Let me know if either report any integrity errors when they finish (it will be on screen in the Cmd window) Ry SFC followed by DISM - if that doesn't help, there's an additional DISM cmd that can use the DVD as a source (I'm not sure if it's in the tutorial, but I have it if you need it - try the command in the tut, then if necessary. Thanks - I have the code on DVD - it is a big machine and took hours to upgrade so I was looking better way - I don't want to lose the installed programs which are working correctly (the ones that I tried) anyway - I was wondering if I was missing some command that would simply refresh the devices and hook them inThanks for the clarification. Kinda - I had two win 7 systems - so I chose to upgrade one of them to win 10 - both win 7 systems were operating correctly - so I thought I would try out Windows 10 It only takes a little longer (not including the download time) The only one almost guaranteed to help is a re-install.
